Indian Navy SSR Recruitment
Indian Navy has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of Agniveer (SSR) 02/2024 Batch for both male and female . As per the notification, the online application will start from 13th May 2024 and all the eligible candidates will able to submit their online applications at the official portal of the Indian Navy. Through this notification, the Indian Navy has invited applications for the post of Senior Secondary Recruits. Candidates who are eligible for the recruitment and willing to serve the country are able to submit the application.
About This Job
As Agniveer (SSR), you will become part of a highly technical Organization. You will be required to serve in powerful, modern ships such as Aircraft Carriers, Guided Missile Destroyers and Frigates, Replenishment Ships and highly technical and fascinating submarines and aircraft.
Work Environment
The work is divided amongst different teams that do different kinds of jobs. It could be operations of various equipment such as radars, sonars or communications or firing of weapons such as missiles, guns or rockets.

Eligibility Criteria of Agniveer SSR Exam
Age: Candidate should be born between 01 Nov 2003–30 Apr 2007 (Both dates inclusive)
Marital Status: (i)Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrollment as Agniveer in Indian Navy.
(ii) Candidates will have to give a certificate of being ‘unmarried’ at the time of enrollment. (iii) Agniveers shall not be permitted to marry during their entire tenure of four years in the Indian Navy.
(iv) A candidate shall be dismissed from service if he/ she marries during his/her tenure or is found to be already married despite giving certificate of being unmarried.
Educational Qualification
Qualified in 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics from Boards of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Govt of India, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Passed Three years diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/
Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Passed Two years Vocational Course with Non-vocational subject viz, Physics and Mathe-
matics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate.
Application Fee
An examination fee of Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five hundred fifty only) plus 18% GST has to be paid by candidate during the online application through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI. Admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee.

Selection Process of Agniveer SSR
02/2024 Batch will include two stages i.e.
(i) Stage I: Shortlisting (Indian Navy Entrance Test - INET)
(ii) Stage II: - PFT, Written Examination and Recruitment Medical Examination.

Training and Advancement
Candidates selected will undergo Basic Training at INS Chilka followed by Professional training in the allotted trade in various Naval Training Establishments. Branch / Trade will be allotted as per the requirement of the service.
