APSC CCE Recruitment 2024 – Online Apply for CCE (Main) Exam 2023

APSC Recruitment 2024

Assam Public Service Commision recently declared the result of Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary), 2023 (APSC CCE 2023) for the recruitment of 235 vacancy. Accordingly, APSC has now released the official notification for Combined Competitive Examination (Main), 2023. Candidates who qualified in Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary), 2023 have to now apply online for CCE (Main) Exam 2023 starting for 18th May 2024.
The Combined Competitive Examination (Main), 2023 is scheduled to be held on July 2024 at Guwahati centre only.

Eligibility Criteria of APSC CCE Exam

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Regional Language Proficiency: The candidate should be able to speak Assamese or other official language or associate official languages of the State or any of the tribal languages of the State.

Residentship: A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration: A candidate should be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.

Small Family Norms: Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A at the time of applying for the C.C. (Prelim) Examination.

Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2023. 

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
# PwBD: 10 years
 

Educational Qualification

(a) The candidate must hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.

(b) Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications

Selection Process of APSC CCE Exam

The Combined Competitive Examination consists of following two successive stages : -

(i) The Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

(ii) The Main Examination (Written & Interview Test)

CCE Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

The CCE Preliminary Examination consists of two objective type multiple choice question papers of two hours duration each.

No of question paper: 2 papers

Name of question paper: General Studies-I & General Studies-II

Total marks: 400 marks (200 marks each)

Duration of exam
: 2 hours for each paper.

Negative marking: One-fourth of the total mark assigned to one question will be deducted for wrong answer marked by a candidate.

CCE Main Examination (Written & Interview)

On the basis of the result of the Preliminary Examination, the number of candidates to be admitted to the written part of the Main Examination will be 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies notified for each category. The written examination shall consist of six papers of conventional essay type/objective type with limited words.

II. Interview Test/ Personality Test

On the basis of the result of the written part of the Main Examination, candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:3 against the number of vacancies advertised.

Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (Written Part as well as Interview would determine their final ranking.
